Yes, the HTTP Monitor is free-of-charge for basic usage.
Each website submitted to HTTPMon is reviewed by a human and this for security reasons. It shouldn't take more than 48 hours until your website is included in our monitoring process.
HTTPMon will check your website every 30 minutes.
Yes, HTTPMon can also check SSL-enabled websites so that both HTTP and HTTPS protocols are available for monitoring.
HTTPMon uses the main website URL in its HTTP request which usually is / (slash).
We use a timeout of ten seconds. If your website does not respond after that time it is considered to be down.
The HTTP code 200 simply means that the HTTP request was successful and is the standard response from a web server if everything is working as it should. In other words the web server where your website is hosted is up-and-running and is delivering the content.
All dates and times displayed on HTTPMon are in Central European Time (CET), which is UTC+1 for winter and Central European Summer Time (CEST), which is UTC+2 for summer.
